I am sure there are many experienced scientists/researchers, after having a wide variety of post doctoral experience would like to share and contribute to the society in a more practical way, this could be no fees mentoring of projects, being part of some ecofriendly projects, green projects, water /nature conservation projects even if it is out of own specialization etc. There are also people who might wish to do sabatical to learn new things being passionate about a particular field of work. However many times these are not directed or scoped to the right person/ company and thus many of our knowledge of talents are not used to its best. How do one comment or make these routes more straight forward for people to approach and obtain their best that serves good for the society at large.
