Need help about carrier

Hello everyone,

I have a Ph.D. in Microbiology and a B.D.S. in Dentistry from India. I’ve qualified CSIR NET JRF (Life Sciences) and have 3 years of post-doctoral experience. I want to pursue a career in academia as an Assistant Professor. Based on job ads, it seems a Master’s degree is required, so I’m considering an M.Tech. or M.Sc. in Computational Biology.

I would appreciate your advice on:

  1. Can I apply for faculty positions without a Master’s degree?
  2. Which is better, M.Tech. or M.Sc., if eligible for both?
  3. How can I advance my academic career with my current qualifications?
