The goal of this program is to give young scientists at the undergraduate level and post graduate level students with hands-on research experience in bioinformatics, genomics, proteomics and molecular biology as part of ongoing research projects within REVA University and Scientific Bio-Minds. The program involves full-time training and research. During the summer internship you will learn hands on experimental design, bioinformatics analysis. You will also get to meet graduate and post-graduate students in the REVA University and Scientific Bio-Minds who work on related projects. They will help co-mentor you throughout the duration of your training and project.
Objectives:
• At the end of the summer you will put together a report outlining the results of your project and give a short presentation describing your project and what you have achieved.
• In addition to research, there will be other seminars and research presentations, both at REVA and elsewhere on campus. We will announce any seminars that might be of interest to you. In the past there have been weekly talks given by graduate students on their research.
• Given the short duration and intensive work schedule of the internship, interns are expected to plan their vacations around the internship dates. Exceptions will be made in case of emergencies.

Dr.Ramachandra.R
The molecular biology and Biochemist with more than 12 years industrial and research and 2 years experience. His research interests are Genomics, Molecular breeding Transformation, Tissue culture and Bio-fertilizers. He is recipient of Junior Scientist Award2013 from NESA (National Environmental Science Academy), New Delhi and qualified ASRB NET 2016. He has worked in various research projects funded by DBT, Kirk House Trust, and UK as Senior Research Fellow.
